I have problems running the game again after the DDOS attack at the server of pointblank according to the news, bu now it's up and running again.

The main problem is when you try to double click the pointblank shortcut on your desktop it hangs on the hackshield process.

The thing I did was go to my Pointblank Game Installation ie: D:/Games/PBlank, your might be different.

Find the file PBLauncher.exe the blue icon as shown in the image below,

After it starts click on the update button, then after the update click on start.

Wait for a while for the Hackshield to update, then it will run again.

However you will find that all your weapons are gone, you need to start again in zero unfortunately.

Pointblank PH Windows Installer Package Error Fix

This is a video that will show you how to install the new E-games Online FPS Shooter name Pointblank,

Step 1. Download the client installer HERE.

Step 2. Click the installer and choose the desired folder of your choosing,
On the Video I've custom install on Drive D:/Games/PointBlank

Step 3. When the installer is about to finish an error will occur saying The Windows installer Package encountered a problem.
Important: Do not close the error dialog box. Yet.

Step 4. Go to your pointblank installation folder ie: D:/Games/Pointblank and copy all of the files by pressing Ctrl-A (Select all) the Ctrl-C (Copy)

Step 5. Make a new folder for your Pointblank Game, ie: D:/Games/PointBlankPH, then press Ctrl-V (Paste) to copy the installed data from your original installation folder earlier.

Step 6. After copying all the files on the new folder of your Pointblank game, Browse to the folder and find Pointblank.exe. You may now choose to close the Pointblank Ph Error Dialog Box.

Step 7. Right click on Pointblank.exe file and choose Send to Desktop create shortcut.

Step 8. Double click on the shortcut you made and the Game Launcher will start, wait a few moments and click on update.

Step 9. After the Update Click on Check files.

Step 10. And Finally Click on Start Button to Start the Game.


Summary: Just install as regular then halt on clicking the ok button when the error pops up,
you should copy the extracted files on the folder you installed the Game on another folder and make a shortcut on the desktop, then Click the Game shortcut on the Desktop and Patch the Game,
Then Click Start Game.
